Bharti Infratel appoints Sunil Khurana as Chief Operations Officer
New Delhi, January 4, 2013: BhartiInfratel, a leading provider of tower telecom infrastructure in India, today announced the appointment of Mr. Sunil Khurana as the Chief Operations Officer (COO) of the company. Sunil will be a member of the core Executive Council (EC) team of BhartiInfratel and report to the CEO, Mr. Devender Singh Rawat.
In his new role, he will provide strategic direction to the day-to-day operations of BhartiInfratel towards facilitating operational excellence and efficiency to meet customer requirements. He will also oversee the circle operations and different aspects of customer service delivery. All Circle Business Heads, Head of Operation & Maintenance and Head of Deployment will report into Sunil.
Sunil has joined BhartiInfratel from GE Group where he worked in various capacities. In his last assignment as Director, CT and Vice President, Services for South Asia, he managed the P&L for the region (India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka & Nepal) reporting to the India CEO and the Global Service Leader based in US. Prior to joining GE Group, he was associated with InrarysPvt Ltd. as Production Head and IGE Medical Systems as Sr. Sales Engineer.
Sunil is an Engineer in Electronics from REC Warangal.
