Bharti Enterprises announces the appointment of Sarvjit Singh Dhillon as Group CFO
New Delhi, October 19, 2011: Bharti Enterprises ("Bharti"), one of India's leading business Groups, today announced the appointment of Sarvjit Singh Dhillon as Group CFO with effect from January 1, 2012. Sarvjit will take over from Manik Jhangiani, who will be completing his contractual term in January 2012 and has decided to pursue opportunities outside of Bharti. .
Sarvjit has been with Bharti for the last 14 years and has successfully held a number of senior management positions across the Group, including CFO – Bharti Airtel, and contributed immensely in corporate, operational, project and financial roles. In his new role as Group CFO, Sarvjit would work in close coordination with the Business CEOs, CFOs as well as Corporate Functional Heads across the Group. He will report to Sunil Bharti Mittal, Chairman & Group CEO, Bharti.

Manik Jhangiani has been heading the finance function at Bharti Enterprises as the Group CFO since May 2009. He has played a key role in introducing various global finance practices within Bharti and successfully established and nurtured mutually productive relationships with the various JV/strategic partners as also with the financial community.
